Okay, obviously, we can't just buy new stuff...but that would be TOTALLY sweet.
The anniversary was awesome. To all married couples: If you have the time and money, go to St. James Hotel in Red Wing and spend the night. We did the "Romance Package" which included dinner for us and free champagne. The chocolate covered strawberries, which, while delicious, are extra. It was $199 for the night. And we got a $100 dinner included. It was fun. Except for the 95 degree heat with humidity included for free.
The packing started in earnest and then I gave up because I've been feeling crappy all day. Yuck. It is going to storm here finally, which will cool things down A LOT!
And I definitely know that by Wednesday afternoon, Jake and I will need a break from here. So, we'll probably go to the Eau C in the afternoon and hang out (strawberry ice cream will definitely be in the cards) and chill out. Spend the night and all. Plus, we have to get my mom on Thursday -- this is much easier this way.
I should go back to packing. I think that I'm going to turn on Dave Chappelle in the bedroom and start sorting clothes. I don't need that many clothes for the next few days. I'll just keep washing the same ones. I'm hoping that I will start feeling better here too, so I won't feel so drained.
I tried to email as many people as possible our new address in Tosa, but if I missed you, let me know and I'll email you. I don't want to put it out on facebook or here so I'm not advertising it EVERYWHERE!
The little cat is a little freaked out about all the boxes and commotion, but she'll be okay. I still haven't come up with a good idea for transporting the cats comfortably, where they can have food/water/litterbox for the ride. I should probably think about that. hmm.....
Okay, well, my next post may very well be from the surface of the moon, I mean, Tosa.
Until later....

You should construct a little cat-land in the back of the Jeep. Y'know, carpet-tower thingies, food dishes, the waterfall-water-dish thingie...the basics.
I can't imagine what that move was/is like...moving my room took like a week. But then again, it was pretty half-assed. And all by myself. "ALL BY MY-SELF..."
I just hit my elbow with the head of the mace, real hard. Hurts. Owie.
And now, margaritas.
MOVING SUCKS. I am in the midst of unpacking. As far as the cat goes, one of my cats was moved up here from Arkansas. My parents bought a pretty big cat carrier for her, and they made up a small litter box and food/water and fit it all inside her carrier.
Give me a call if you're bored when you're in town. Maybe I'll be unpacked by then...
Margaritas? Bup buh. I want those.
Today was seriously like the worst day ever. EVER.
pat.bents@gmail.com is where you can send your address, so I know where to send the Christmas card!
I might be in Eau Claire Wednesday night, as I have an interview in Menomonie (doo doo, da-doo-do) on Thursday.
